Integrating Azure DevOps with your Neatro Action Plan streamlines collaboration by allowing you to export action items directly from Neatro to your Azure DevOps workspace.

This guide walks you through the steps to ensure a smooth and efficient integration — helping your team strengthen its continuous improvement practices.

Why should I export Neatro action items to Azure DevOps?

Exporting action items to Azure DevOps offers several advantages:

Increase visibility: When your Neatro action items are visible in Azure DevOps, your team is less likely to forget them.

Strengthen continuous improvement: Keeping your action plan visible in your project management tool reinforces accountability and follow-through.

How do I export Neatro action items to Azure DevOps?

Neatro allows you to export action items to Azure DevOps in two ways:

  • From your Team’s Action Plan board (Option A)

  • From a retrospective report (Option B)

Choose the option that best fits your workflow.

Option A: Export from your Team’s Action Plan board

  1. To get started, go to your team’s Action Plan board: https://app.neatro.io/action-items

  2. Click the action item you want to export to Azure DevOps. If you don’t have any existing action items, click the + Action Item button to create one.

  3. Click the integration logo at the bottom of the action item panel to start the Azure DevOps export process.

  4. In the integration options, select Azure DevOps.

  5. If you are not already logged in to Azure DevOps, you will be prompted to sign in. Make sure you have your credentials ready.

  6. Next, select the appropriate Azure DevOps Site, Project, and work item type for the exported action item. This ensures the item is properly structured within your Azure DevOps workspace.

Option B: Export from a retrospective report

  1. To get started, open your retrospective report: https://app.neatro.io/retrospectives

  2. Locate the action item you want to export and click the Integrations button next to it.

  3. Select Azure DevOps from the available integrations.

  4. If you are not logged in to Azure DevOps, you will be prompted to sign in.

  5. Then choose the Azure DevOps Site, Project, and work item type for the action item. This ensures the data aligns with your project configuration.
