We take security very seriously. Here is some key information about how we protect your data.
Where is my data stored?
Your data is stored in our MySQL database hosted in the Microsoft Azure cloud environment. The data center hosting our infrastructure is located in Québec City, QC, Canada.
We chose Microsoft Azure to support our infrastructure because of its strong reputation in the cloud hosting industry and its extensive security certifications.
Is my data secured?
Our MySQL database is IP-restricted to Neatro’s App Service in Microsoft Azure, meaning that only the Neatro application’s IP address can access your data.
We can restore the database to any point within the last 7 days. All database backups are encrypted using AES-256.
Our authentication flow relies on Microsoft .NET Core Identity. Passwords and access tokens are encrypted using PBKDF2 (HMAC-SHA256, 128-bit salt, 256-bit subkey, 10,000 iterations).
Is your application secured?
Neatro’s application runs as an App Service hosted in Microsoft Azure. Access to our infrastructure is restricted and protected with two-factor authentication.
We use Microsoft .NET Core Identity — a standard library maintained by Microsoft — to handle registration, authentication, password reset procedures, email verification, and related processes.
All connections to Neatro’s application and database are secured using SSL/TLS encryption.
Can I sign up using SSO?
Yes. You can sign up and log in to Neatro using your Microsoft account (Office 365, Live, Hotmail, etc.) or your Google account (personal or Google Workspace).
We also support SAML SSO with Okta and custom identity providers for Pro and Enterprise customers.
How do you handle payments?
We rely on Stripe to process subscriptions and payments. Stripe is a leading provider in the online payments industry and ensures a high level of security and compliance.
Which third-party services do you use?
We rely on industry-proven third-party providers to support Neatro’s infrastructure, payments, communications, and analytics.
